Rebecca Blanchard is a Course Supervisor for the TAC Diploma in Integrative Counselling. She has an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy (Birkbeck College), is an accredited Dynamic Interpersonal Therapist – DIT (Anna Freud Centre) and Integrative Clinical Supervisor (The Awareness Centre).
Rebecca is accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a kitemarked DIT practitioner with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). As a psychotherapist and supervisor in private practice, she has worked with clients/supervisees in the charity, university, NHS and Adoption Service settings. She has significant DE&I (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) experience, working both long-term and in a time-limited way with clients experiencing a range of presentations, including PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, self-harm, addiction, physical/emotional abuse, transitioning, bereavement/loss and relationship issues.
As an integrative clinical supervisor, Rebecca provides a safe, curious and energetic environment, that supports open and honest reflection. She encourageS creativity, at the same time as working responsibly and ethically. This helps supervisees put theory into practice and move their client work and own development forwards.
