Adeola Asabia offers an empathic, non-judgemental space enabling clients to be their authentic self, whilst helping them to reflect, process and understand their thoughts and feelings in a more exploratory way, giving them a deeper insight into their thought patterns, emotions and experiences felt. Adeola works from a client centred premise which involves respecting the uniqueness and diversity of client needs, goals and expectations. Adeola’s collaborative approach helps to support clients in their therapeutic journey by facilitating their ability to understand, cope or change their situation in addition to finding meaning and purpose from a painful past or present circumstances.

Adeola has a background in law and social enterprise. She believes in the ethics of equity, social justice and inclusion. Personal and professional development trainings have equipped her to understand the transient nature of life, her complexities and how to work with clients through their struggles. Adeola works with clients who seek therapy for anxiety, depression, loneliness and self esteem, either resulting from a relationship with themselves or with other people. Adeola is able to incorporate an integrative therapeutic method (which include Person-Centred, Transactional Analysis and Psychodynamic approaches). Her commitment to enjoying a balanced life gives her additional tools to work with in helping clients achieve a healthy mind and body.

Adeola Asabia is an integrative counsellor and a member of the BACP. She works within The Awareness Centre providing counselling services for NHS/ Wandsworth. Adeola is currently working towards an advanced diploma in integrative counselling.
