Aimie Molyneux is a compassionate and empathetic integrative counsellor with a profound passion for supporting individuals facing challenges related to bereavement, depression, and anxiety. Aimie draws on a diverse range of therapeutic modalities such as person-centered, cognitive-behavioural, and psychodynamic therapy. She believes in tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each client, recognising that no two individuals experience issues and problems in the same way. She aims to create a safe and supportive space for individuals navigating through complex and challenging emotions. Whether someone is grappling with the loss of a loved one, feeling overwhelmed by persistent sadness, or struggling with anxious thoughts, Aimie provides empathetic guidance and evidence-based interventions.

Aimie’s background is in SEN primary schools and detached youth work. These experiences have provided Aimie with skills and tools that have informed her work as a counsellor. Working with young people in challenging situations has taught her compassion, patience, and empathy and provided her with a passion for helping people. Her experience in her previous placement work has allowed her to work with a range of diverse issues. These have included: depression, anxiety, domestic violence, bereavement, and insomnia. through this work, she has been given a deeper understanding and empathy around these challenging issues faced by many. She works to identify interventions for the clients she works with to facilitate helpful changes.

Aimie is currently working towards a level 4 diploma in integrative counselling. She is a member of the BACP and sees NHS patients for counselling at NHS Sutton.
