Anders Carvalho – NHS Team Leader Lambeth

Anders Carvalho works within the role of Team Leader at The Awareness Centre for our NHS Lambeth Talking Therapies service. He also holds a diverse caseload of clients, contributing to the service and the overall performance of the Lambeth team.

Within his role, Anders supports a number of placement therapists whilst managing the important role of interpreter bookings against client allocations within the Lambeth service. He is passionate in supporting therapists within their own development, drawing upon his past business IT experience to provide comprehensive IAPTus training for our NHS therapists; whilst liaising with clients, our stakeholders and internal teams for efficient practice and service delivery.

Anders is a qualified integrative Counsellor and a registered member of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). He runs a successful private practice as a therapist; and outside of his therapeutic practice, Anders is also a musician, philosopher and fitness enthusiast.
