Elizabeth Vago has a Diploma in Transpersonal Counselling and Psychotherapy and is a registered member of BACP.  Although Elizabeth’s qualification is in Transpersonal Psychotherapy, her training is also integrative and involves other modalities. Elizabeth works at The Awareness Centre in Clapham on Monday evenings.

Elizabeth offers a space to clients that is supportive, non-judgemental, and confidential and
where clients can feel at ease to share the issues they are struggling with, encouraging them not
to feel “different” or that “something is wrong with them”.

Elizabeth appreciates that sometimes life can be tough, that we cannot always resolve things on our
own and we may benefit from having someone to walk alongside us and to support us
on our journey through these times. Elizabeth aims to offer that. While therapy is a tool for dealing with struggles, Elizabeth also believes that therapy is a great space for personal development and simply getting to know oneself better and improving our relationships with others.

Elizabeth trained as a Transpersonal Psychotherapist which is a holistic approach to therapy considering aspects of the mind, body and soul.  However, Elizabeth tailors her practice to the needs and wishes of the client but enjoys using dreamwork as it is often a direct route into the subconscious and the main issues affecting a client.

Elizabeth also trained as a lawyer and understands the pressures of working in a demanding environment where perfection is often expected.  She believes that her training helps her with maintaining a grounded and contained therapeutic space.  Elizabeth also has an interest in eating disorders.
