Emma believes that with the right support, everyone can find answers within themselves and make positive changes. Working integratively, she tailors each session to her clients’ unique needs, drawing from various therapeutic modalities to support comprehensive understanding and healing.

Emma has a corporate background in marketing, sales, and business development. More recently, she has gained experience working as an assistant teacher with neurodiverse children and as a helpline volunteer. These roles have refined her skills in active listening, empathy, patience, and tailored support. Emma’s personal experiences with counselling have deepened her appreciation for its positive impact, motivating her to help clients build resilience, develop healthier relationships, and enhance their overall well-being.

Emma Baker is a trainee counsellor working towards her MSc in Psychology and her Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy. She is a student member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and the British Psychological Society (BPS), and she works within The Awareness Centre’s NHS Service in Sutton.
