Fausto Larenza
Fausto Larenza offers a space free from judgement, where authenticity and fluidity guide the therapeutic journey. He believes each person should feel comfortable shaping their own process, creating their own language and expressing their unique way of understanding both themselves and the world around them. He will support you in exploring your creativity, connecting with your strengths, and gently working through areas that may need care and attention, always alongside you. He understands that therapy can feel daunting, whether it is your first session or you have previous experience, and aims to make the process feel accessible, human, and grounded in understanding and respect. His work is guided by the BACP ethical framework, where values such as client autonomy, respect, and confidentiality are central to the therapeutic relationship. Alongside offering sessions in English, as a Venezuelan, he also provides therapy in Spanish.
With over 10 years of living in the UK, Fausto brings a depth of lived experience to his work, shaped by both personal and professional transitions. His background in corporate environments (HR, recruitment, and talent management) has given him a strong understanding of people’s inner worlds within external systems, including the pressures of performance, identity, and change. Alongside this, his volunteering experience supporting diverse communities, including migrants, neurodivergent individuals, and LGBTQ+ people, has allowed him to connect with a wide range of human experiences, often at vulnerable or transformative stages of life. As a migrant himself, Fausto understands the emotional and psychological layers that come with starting over and adapting to new environments. His approach is grounded in empathy and curiosity, supporting clients in making sense of these transitions while reconnecting with their own inner resources. He works collaboratively with clients to explore their resilience as something that can be rediscovered, strengthened, and redefined over time. Through this process, Fausto supports individuals in moving towards the version of themselves they wish to become.
Fausto is a trainee integrative counsellor currently working with online clients at NHS Lambeth. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is completing his Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling. He is also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
