Kelly Richardson
Kelly (she/her) studied a degree in psychology and counselling, followed by a masters in clinical neuropsychiatry and is an empathetic integrative therapist, she is experienced in working with anxiety and depression and is a specialist in brain injury and neurodiversity.
Kelly prefers to work in a solution focused way, exploring past or current trauma as well as relational elements that can impact everyday life. She often works with scaling and goals to help visualise the pathway ahead building life strategies you can take forward. Kelly is especially comfortable working online, and believes that the therapeutic relationship between councillor and client is integral to a trusting working alliance that works with respect, empathy and unconditional positive regard. Kelly brings a relaxed and caring approach to the therapy space based on trust and respect. She will help you identify repetitive behaviours that can impact quality of life and consider the impact this can have on your human experience. She is experiences at working with young people and parents as well as working with depression, anxiety, trauma, conflict and neurodiversity.
Kelly is a member of BPS, and student member of BACP and is working towards a diploma in integrative counselling. Kelly works within the NHS Wandsworth Counselling Service.
