Kerry Birch
Kerry is warm, empathic, intuitive and resilient and believes that clients have the tools within themselves to improve their lives through therapy. Kerry has trained within the integrative modality and has a particular interest in the transactional and psychodynamic fields. Her approach is very much based on a mutual working alliance between client and therapist.
Kerry has a background in the corporate world. She has specific experience in marketing and events/hospitality and has owned and managed her own businesses and so she understands the demands of balancing modern-day life. She has recently moved into therapy as she has experienced first-hand the benefit it has had in her own life. Life today, whilst busy, can be lonely. Kerry believes that therapy offers an opportunity to give oneself much needed time and space to examine issues, feelings and thoughts at close hand with a view to better self-understanding and improved quality of life.
Kerry is a trainee integrative counsellor and is a member of the BACP working towards her Diploma in Integrative Counselling. She works within the Awareness Centre’s NHS Wandsworth Counselling Service.
