She is training for her diploma at The Awareness Centre and working with clients through NHS Lambeth. She supports people experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, grief, attachment difficulties, identity concerns and relationship challenges. In her work with clients, she also has an interest in working with eating disorders. She takes a compassionate, understanding approach, ensuring that each client feels listened to, respected and supported while working toward positive and sustainable change.
Monika has experience working within the mental health field and in supporting clients with fertility-related difficulties. She helps clients explore the thoughts, feelings and challenges that can come with fertility treatment providing emotional support and practical coping strategies. Her approach is collaborative and sensitive, tailored to each client’s individual situation, so they feel safe, understood and able to engage fully in the therapeutic process.
As an integrative therapist, Monika draws on a range of approaches, including humanistic, relational and cognitive techniques, to meet the unique needs of each client. With a background in psychology and healthcare, she combines evidence-based methods with a warm and supportive style. She is attentive to each person’s personal, cultural and social context and works with clients to clarify goals, increase self-understanding and build resilience. Above all, Monika is committed to creating a safe, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, supported and empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.
