Natalia Szczepanska is a trainee counsellor studying towards an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling at The Awareness Centre and practicing with NHS Talking Therapies in Wandsworth. She is a BACP registered student member and previously completed a Foundation Certificate in Counselling. Natalia’s integrative training enables her to draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, allowing her to tailor her work to each client’s individual needs, experiences, and therapeutic goals. Natalia is committed to providing a confidential, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while developing greater self-awareness and resilience.

Natalia believes that the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of effective counselling and aims to create a warm, empathetic, and non-judgemental environment where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. Working integratively allows her to adapt her approach to each individual, recognising that no two people or experiences are the same. She works alongside clients at a pace that feels comfortable for them, supporting them in making sense of their thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and life experiences. Natalia has a particular interest in incorporating solution-focused techniques where they support the client’s goals, helping individuals recognise their existing strengths, identify practical resources, and take achievable steps towards meaningful change. Alongside exploring present difficulties and the influence of past experiences, she encourages clients to focus on future possibilities that feel realistic, authentic, and sustainable. Her aim is to empower clients to develop greater confidence, emotional resilience, and a deeper understanding of themselves as they work towards lasting change.

Alongside her counselling training and clinical practice, Natalia has extensive experience in project management, leading organisational change and supporting teams through periods of transition in demanding professional environments. This background has given her valuable insight into the pressures of high-performing workplaces, the impact of chronic stress, and the challenges of balancing professional responsibilities with personal wellbeing. As a result, she has a particular interest in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, workplace stress, burnout, and significant life changes. Natalia understands how overwhelming life can feel when expectations are high and believes therapy provides an opportunity to pause, reflect, and develop healthier, more sustainable ways of coping. She brings a thoughtful, compassionate, and collaborative approach to her work, helping clients build greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence as they navigate life’s challenges.
