Radha provides non-judgemental, empathic and safe space for the clients to explore their thoughts and process their feelings and emotions in relation to the issues and concerns they bring into the session. Radha’s approach is humanistic and client-centred with focus on building a therapeutic relationship with the client, to enhance client’s personal growth and self awareness. Radha  integrates various  theoretical approaches and tailors them to individual client needs with the focus on what client hopes to achieve from counselling. Radha believes that life events changes the way an individual relates to themselves and others and if a trustworthy and confidential space  is provided to process personal experiences it is possible for the individual to grow and bring positive change in their life.

Radha was trained as a dentist prior to qualifying as a Therapeutic counsellor. She is aware of the responsibilities and pressure that comes with role of being in a professional field and the importance of having a work-life balance for mental, emotional and physical well being. Radha’s interest in counselling came from her personal experience with counselling and her curiosity in the subject and her interest  in human mind and how it works.

Radha has experience of working with individuals who have PTSD, anxiety, stress and depression. She has been working in the charity organisations for 3 years  and will continue working in charity organisation as she likes being part of the community through her work.

Radha is an Integrative (therapeutic) counsellor working in private practice at The Awareness Centre in Tooting. She has a L4 diploma in integrative counselling, and is registered with the BACP.
