Rupal Bhatt provides a safe, confidential, and supportive space where clients can openly share and talk about themselves and their lives. She believes that therapy allows individuals from all walks of life to process and work through difficulties, suffering and pain with the aim to relieve some of this strain and live a more pleasurable life. Rupal works in an integrative way using different approaches which best suit the client and their individual needs, for example exploring methods of communication (Transactional Analysis) or more physical mind/body connection (Gestalt). Rupal believes each individual is unique and therefore their journey will also be unique. Rupal also works creatively with imagery and objects if clients find it hard to express feelings or thoughts in words. Rupal aims to build a solid and trusting alliance with clients to allow full self-exploration.

Rupal comes from a background of working in a fast paced, extremely pressured IT company. She has experience of micromanagement, not being recognized for success, and working with harmful coping strategies. She believes that a trusting and strong therapeutic relationship can allow clients to explore new ways of thinking and approaching difficult situations. She has a deep interest in pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood. She also specializes in bereavement and loss.

Rupal is a trainee integrative counsellor and is a member of the BACP. Rupal is currently working towards a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and works within The Awareness Centre’s NHS Wandsworth counselling service.
