Valeria Perciany David

Valeria Perciany David is a qualified integrative counsellor, and a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). She has experience working in the NHS and private practice with a range of mental health issues including (but not limited to): depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, grief and bereavement, relationship and family issues.

Valeria brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach, creating a safe and empathic space for clients to open up, explore their emotions and to be seen and heard for who they are. With an integrative approach, Valeria draws from diverse therapeutic modalities including psychodynamic, gestalt, transactional analysis and mindfulness to tailor interventions to individual needs.

In her sessions, she seamlessly weaves together these established modalities, fostering a deep exploration of her clients’ emotions, behaviours and relational patterns.

Additionally Valeria has trained as an Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) practitioner, which provides an innovative and evidence-based approach that works quickly to de-charge negative memories, reduce distressing feelings, reduce post-traumatic stress, and work on disempowered views about identity.

Committed to empowering clients to navigate life’s complexities and challenges, she will provide them with a collaborative therapeutic relationship marked by warmth, understanding and a commitment to their growth and emotional wellbeing.

With a background in Law and experience in Marketing Management, Valeria also has experience in workplace issues and conflict resolution. She understands how people might place themselves under internal and external pressures, which can lead to dysfunctional or harmful coping strategies. Valeria has additional certifications in Master Coaching and Relationships Coaching.
