Liz Warmington - Course Supervisor

Liz Warmington is an experienced Integrative Therapist, Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, Educator and Mentor, with an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy. She has a diverse background spanning private practice, higher education, specialist education and hospice care.

Liz works Integratively, drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Attachment approaches, alongside Somatic and creative practices. She has particular expertise in supporting neurodivergent clients and supervisees, adapting her approach to individual needs. Also working with individuals living with chronic health conditions, supporting their psychological and emotional wellbeing and helping them navigate the challenges of living with long-term health concerns.

Alongside her private practice and supervisory work, Liz is a specialist CYP pre-bereavement and bereavement counsellor within a hospice setting, supporting children, young people and families through complex experiences of loss and anticipatory grief. Also, Liz provides mentoring and supervision to PhD students, play therapists and music therapists, supporting their professional development and clinical practice. In addition, she mentors and supervises hospice companions, helping them to provide compassionate and emotionally attuned support to patients and families during some of the most challenging times of their lives.

Her approach is warm, relational and thoughtfully challenging, with a strong emphasis on curiosity, reflective practice, ethical awareness and professional development. Liz is passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces where people can explore, grow and develop confidence in their own unique voice.
