Caroline aims to provide a safe and confidential environment where her clients are free to express themselves, in a space where they can work together to achieve individual goals and where their thoughts and feelings can be explored. Caroline works using an integrative approach, utilising person centred and psychodynamic, which includes empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard. By using this approach, she believes each client has the capability to live their life with autonomy and face future challenges. The aim being to uncover the client’s inner self and enable them to reach their desired outcome in all areas of life.

Prior to Caroline becoming a counsellor her previous working experience is that of providing pastoral support to teenagers, young adults and their families in an educational setting.  She has found this to be immensely rewarding and it has given her the experience of caring for others during difficult and challenging times. She has experienced, both on personal and professional levels, many life experiences including anxiety, workplace relationships, bereavement, loss, stress and low mood which are commonly experienced by many at some time in their lives.

Caroline is an integrative trainee counsellor and is a member of the BACP.  She is working towards her Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and accreditation. Caroline works for The Awareness Centre NHS in Sutton.
