Charlie Mckinney Murphy
Charlie Mckinney Murphy provides an empathic, compassionate and cognitive environment where clients are able to share and focus on difficult and painful emotions and circumstances. He believes each individual has the capacity to grow, given the right environment.
He provides a safe space for clients to explore, express and identify their own issues. Charlie believes that understanding emotions is the start of one’s growth, and that exploring and accepting oneself is part of the therapeutic journey.
Charlie’s background was working within hospitality, where he worked and progressed to a supervisor position. He understands a busy work life which entails stress or emotional responses. Charlie progressed by working in a rehab, Help ME Stop, while studying Integrative Therapeutic Counselling. He is compassionate and understands the complicated emotions and issues surrounding addiction.
Charlie is an Integrative Trainee Counsellor and a student member of the BACP. He works within The Awareness Centres Low-Cost Service in Tooting. He is currently studying Therapeutic Counselling at Kingston College.
