Collette Boyd is a qualified Counsellor and registered member of the BACP, with over nine years’ experience of working with female survivors of domestic abuse as well as helping individuals overcome substance abuse and addiction.

Collette works as a person-centred therapist; however, as she believes much of the therapeutic relationship is about meeting the needs of the individual, she is pluralistic in her overall approach.

Collette’s clients come from diverse backgrounds and she has experience of working with substance misuse, addiction, self harm, trauma, sexual abuse, depression, mental health, bereavement and loss, communication and workplace issues,  and relationship issues. She also works with people who present with issues including identity, sexuality, Asperger’s Syndrome, self harm, substance misuse and bullying.
