Fabiola (pronouns:she/her) offers an empathic and non-judgmental space for clients to feel seen and heard. Following a person centred approach, Fabiola believes clients possess the internal resources to find their own solutions. Drawing from an integrative working style to suit her clients’ needs, her approach is also underpinned by creating a strong therapeutic alliance for clients to feel safe and contained throughout the process. She sees the therapeutic process as a collaborative space where clients can identify and explore the challenges affecting their wellbeing. The aim is to work towards increasing self-awareness and live more satisfactory lives by integrating all of the different elements that make up their authentic selves.

Having worked as a career and personal development coach in higher education, private practice and the NHS, Fabiola has vast experience supporting individuals presenting a variety of challenges, particularly those experiencing anxiety, workplace issues and life transitions. Through her experience as a coach, Fabiola understands the internal and external pressures individuals can put on themselves, which can develop into unhelpful or damaging coping strategies. Working in partnership with her clients, Fabiola warmly encourages a supportive dialogue with a view to develop self confidence and trust so that future challenges are easier to manage.

Fabiola pays special attention to the influence of culture, identity and gender on the self.  She holds various qualifications including a BA in sociology and women’s studies and a Master’s degree in career coaching. She is also a member of the Association for Coaching and has volunteering experience in an organisation supporting Latin American women in the UK.

Fabiola is an integrative counsellor and BACP member. She holds a graduate certificate in humanistic and psychodynamic counselling and is currently working towards a postgraduate diploma in counselling and psychotherapy. She works within The Awareness Centre’s low cost counselling service in Tooting and offers therapy in English and Spanish.
