Francine provides a non- judgmental space where the client can safely explore their life challenges. Francine is a very thoughtful, sensitive and intuitive practitioner. She brings an open and honest approach to her relational contacts that highlights her warmth and exceptional interpersonal skills. She believes in the healing power of the authentic relationship created by both the client and the therapist. Each session is an opportunity to slow down and support the client in exploring what is happening to them. Francine is trained to explore the impact of trauma experienced in childhood, as well as work in the present, supporting the client develop coping strategies to face their life challenges.

With a background as a curator in visual arts and higher education, Francine invites clients to develop and use their imagination and creativity to reinvent themselves. Francine is happy to work with dreams, creative writings, drawings or paintings to facilitate the release of emotions and create new meanings. Additionally, Francine has experienced of facilitating constructive discussions on social justice and marginal identities in higher education.

Francine is currently training to become a registered integrative psychotherapist with UKCP. She works in private practice at the Awareness Centre. Francine has experience in working with anxiety, relationships, depression for a primary care NHS setting. Additionally, she has worked extensively with clients recovering from alcoholic addictions in London.
