Rebecca has a psychology background and is currently studying at level four to become a counsellor using an integrative approach, which means she will incorporate a variety of methods and techniques depending on your own individual needs and preferred ways of working together. Rebecca will always work at your own pace and support you in gaining a deeper understanding of yourself by incorporating a person-centred approach, with both psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy to our sessions together. Rebecca will ensure to draw on her experience and knowledge to empower you to make the changes you need in a supportive and non-judgmental way. She will focus on building a therapeutic relationship with you based on respect, care and trust and providing a welcoming space where you can feel safe to explore your feelings and circumstances that are unique to you.

With a diverse background, Rebecca has lived and worked in many different countries and cultures and can offer sessions in both English and Spanish. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Spain and can understand the difficulties that come with difference and diversity and living away from support systems, such as family and friends.

Rebecca has a BSc Psychology degree and is a graduate member of the BPS. She is currently studying to become integrative counsellor and is a registered member of the BACP, following their ethical guidelines. She continues to do extensive charity and volunteer work and believes in the core values held at TAC in that everyone deserves respect, compassion, and empathy.
