Rose Warn provides warm, empathic understanding and non-judgmental listening in a safe space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours freely. She believes that everyone has a voice and encourages her clients to truly feel heard. Rose believes the client is the expert and by creating the right environment this will allow them to find their own answers to the issues that they bring to the sessions. Rose admires the courage it takes for clients to begin therapy as she understands how daunting this can be.
As everyone is unique, Rose uses an integrative approach combining person-centred and psychodynamic approaches to help clients gain a better understanding of how their past experiences influence the ‘here and now’.
Rose has a background as a PA for many years in the City in Banking and Law firms. She has a vast experience of working with people from different backgrounds and has encountered people from all walks of life. She understands the internal and external pressures people can put upon themselves, which can lead to unhelpful or damaging coping strategies. She works to identify healthier ways of managing emotions and stress.
Rose currently volunteers for a Drug & Alcohol Service, where she gets to witness the transformation people are capable of at any time in their lives.
Rose is a trainee integrative counsellor working towards a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a student member of the BACP. She works within The Awareness Centre’s NHS Counselling Service in Lambeth.
