Sally Taylor is a warm, empathetic and understanding person creating a safe environment for clients to talk freely without being judged. Helping clients to explore themselves in current and past experiences, raising their awareness of themselves and their environments. Her main approach is Person Centred, but she works integratively, building trusting and honest relationships with clients, supporting them in their personal growth, unique voice and culture, leading to the change they may be looking for.

Sally has worked in a setting for survivors of domestic abuse, supporting them through issues around anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, isolation and loneliness, anger and loss. Sally has experience supporting children and young people to find their voices and stay safe in the community, empowering them to fight fears, confidence issues, gender and orientation problems in a calm and supportive environment as a youth worker. She currently works with SEN children in an educational background.

Sally is in her 4th year of training for a Diploma in integrative counselling and psychotherapy,  and is a BACP member. She works ethically and uses the principles of empathy, autonomy and respect and uses these principles to support her clients in a non-directive way. She works as a counsellor within The Awareness Centre’s Low Cost Counselling Service in Tooting.
